a cup of caapi tea will cost
you less than any other
hallucinogen
Rue is not ayahuasca. It is
used to make analogues of
ayahuasca. I have 90% of the
rue I originally bought. I
will not drink it anymore.
If you want to work with the
brew, I highly suggest using
caapi instead of rue. The
ayahuasca vine is the one
ingredient in the brew that
is indispensable.
The Ethnopharmacology of
Ayahuasca
"I've brewed
many in combination with the
vine, here's a few I've
personally tried; clavo
huasca, san pedro, Hawaiin
baby wood rose, iporuru, calendula,
linden flower, all different types
of passion flowers, syrian rue, baijili,
catnip, mexican tarragon,
reishi mushroom, all
different types of magic
mushrooms..."
The foliage of Psychotria
viridis (Chacruna) is the
principle admixture of
Ayahuasca potions employed
throughout Peru and Brazil.
In Columbia and Amazonian
Ecuador, the plant
Diplopterys cabrerana
(Chaliponga)
is often used instead.
Consciousness of the Shaman
and the "Miração" (mareacion
is a shamanic state brought
on by consuming ethnogenic
plants, yes?)
The leaves (but not the
bark) of a third species of
Banisteriopsis -- B.
rusbyana [Note: now
reclassified as Diploptrerys
cabrerana, aka Chaliponga or
Chagropanga] -- are often
added to the preparation "to
lengthen and brighten the
visions."
